Blind Buy Score is a single number from 0 to 5 for how well crowd signal and the juice's profile line up if you buy unsniffed. It is not a verdict on whether a fragrance is "good" or "bad." A lower score usually means more polarizing or context-dependent: not for everyone, so buy with care; a higher score suggests a safer unsniffed bet. It's a weighted blend, tuned for India's heat and humidity, so you spend less time hunting threads and more time on scents worth trying.

I am very passionate about collecting perfumes. As I started collecting, the number of bottles kept increasing — but the amount I was actually using was very less. I couldn't afford to buy a new bottle every month, so I started buying decants.
But finding the right decant took so much research. Selecting 2–3 options meant searching for 7–8 days — scrolling YouTube, Reddit, all the threads. And I still wasn't sure.
I also strongly believe in layering. It creates something unique that's entirely yours. But it's very hard to know which layering combos will work — and we don't have many known companies in India that sell decants personalised enough to last a month.
I'm a data scientist. So I thought — why not mix data with perfume? Make the platform personalised for everyone. I started working on this idea from Feb 2026.
