Return & Refund Policy

Why we sell samples: The entire point of ScentRev is that you test a fragrance on your skin before buying a full bottle. Our micro-samples exist precisely to eliminate the risk of a bad purchase. We encourage you to order a sample first — that's what they're for.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery only in the following cases:

  • You received a wrong item (different fragrance or size than ordered)
  • The item arrived damaged, leaking, or broken
  • The item is defective (e.g. atomiser not working)

We do not accept returns for:

  • Change of mind or personal preference (fragrance smells different on your skin)
  • Opened or used decants
  • Items purchased during a sale or with a discount coupon (unless damaged/wrong)

How to Raise a Return Request

After delivery, open Profile → Orders (sign in if needed), select your order, and tap Request return within 7 days of delivery.

You will need:

  • Your order number (shown on the order detail screen)
  • Clear photos of the item and packaging (1 to 5 images)
  • A brief description of the issue (minimum 20 characters)

We review requests within 1 business day and email you next steps.

Refund Policy

Once your return is approved, you can choose between:

  • Full refund to your original payment method
  • Store credit (processed faster, valid for 12 months)
  • Replacement of the same item

Timelines are from the date of refund initiation by ScentRev. Bank processing times may vary.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled before dispatch for a full refund. Once dispatched, cancellations are not possible. You may raise a return request after delivery if the item is wrong or damaged.

To cancel before dispatch, use the cancel option on your order tracking page or email support@scentrev.com with your order number.

Consumer Rights (India)

This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. If you believe your consumer rights have been violated, you may file a complaint at the National Consumer Helpline: 1800-11-4000 or consumerhelpline.gov.in.
